Overview
What data do we collect?
During the event we collect all kinds of information. What kind of data we collect depends on the setup the customer gives us. We will only request the information necessary for the smooth running of the event from the customer. This can range from name and voting results to very specific information related to the event/conference.
Why do we collect this data?
We collect this data to ensure proper functionality of our tool. In addition, the collected data is sent to the event organizer, who can further analyze the data.
What do we do with the data?
We send the data to the event organizer who can analyze the data. To process the data, we make a processing agreement with the organizer of the event. We only share the data with the client, in accordance with the processing agreement. The data is not available to third parties and will not be sold.
Where is the data stored?
During and before the event, the data is stored in the European Union, in accordance with European legislation. The relevant data center is ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 1 type II (SSAE 16 and ISAE 3402) and SOC 2 type II certified. After the data has been handed over to the customer, it will be deleted.
Data collection
We only gather information that is essential for the event experience, such as participant details, session selections and interaction data. Sensitive details are only collected when explicitly required and agreed upon by the organiser.
Processing agreements
For every event we sign a data processing agreement with the organiser. This agreement defines purpose, retention periods, access controls and responsibilities, ensuring GDPR compliance across the full event lifecycle.
Security measures
Data is stored in EU-based facilities with certifications including ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 1 Type II and SOC 2 Type II. Our infrastructure employs encryption in transit and at rest, along with role-based access controls.
Retention and deletion
Data is only retained as long as needed to deliver services and reporting to the organiser. Once the event concludes and data has been transferred securely, it is permanently removed from our systems.
